Searching for the Missing!

Vern dedicates much of his time to searching for missing persons. Last year Vern and his search partner, Ken Fleming of Recon Dive Recovery, helped to locate and recover the remains of 2 missing persons underwater. These were cold cases dating back to 1992 and 2000 respectively and both went missing along with their vehicles. Vern has also located 2 recent missing persons on land this year. Unfortunately, both were deceased.

To date, Vern and Ken have located over 75 vehicles and watercraft using custom developed Uncrewed Sonar Search Vessels (USSV). They sonar map retention ponds, canals, and small lakes and rivers and assess our findings with ROVs, Underwater Camera systems and when needed, Ken dives on the anomaly. They then report to local authorities our findings.
